Calca by Krueger Systems is not your everyday calculator app. It is really powerful and text based.
Sounds like the calculator for me.
I put out two vats of mac & cheese, labeled “A” and “B”, and gave everyone a plate, a fork, and a comment card. I ended up with ten responses (I abstained), and the verdict was clear… > Modernist won, nine votes to one. Tasters thought it was creamier, cheesier, and more flavorful.
Darüber, wie man ordentlich Mac and Cheese macht.
There is a clash coming. It may not be anything imagined in all of these hypothetical endgame scenarios you’ve been reading. Or it might line up pretty neatly. But the teams have been separated, and there are a lot of competing interests about to square off. Drama needs characters to commit, to reveal their interests and desires and loyalties. Once they do, it allows the storyteller to tweak our expectations (for good or bad), and it allows viewers to realize the ramifications of their loyalties at that point as well.
Detective Chief Inspector John Luther is a troubled man. He’s brilliant like Sherlock Holmes, but he’s as troubled (maybe even more so) than Prime Suspect’s Jane Tennison (Helen Mirren). Say what you want about the paucity of episodes, the Brits know how to write a very, very screwed up detective dedicated to his or her job at the risk of all else.
Luther kommt gerade in den Staaten an. Entsprechend wird erst jetzt darüber geschrieben. Dieser Artikel ist lesenswert.
One of the most widely used tools in the web development process is surely the terminal. While you are working on a project, often you find yourself in the position of using the terminal with several tabs open at once, one for launching a local web server, a second tab for managing the database, another for copying files and so on. This can soon become messy and hard to handle. One solution for this problem which works well for me, is the terminal multiplexer, tmux.
Wer gerne und viel im Terminal arbeitet, kennt das entweder, oder sollte es sich mal ansehen.
You have to be a genius like Aaron Sorkin to get away with a show as vigorously awful as The Newsroom. That’s the thing that makes it so agonizing in its watchability. Sorkin sees his hero Will McAvoy, played by Jeff Daniels, as the last noble Roman in the wilderness of cable news. But Will is just a blowhard twit who can’t stop lecturing about his hard-won ideals.
- Never use a verb other than “said” to carry dialogue.
- Never use an adverb to modify the verb “said.”
- Keep your exclamation points under control.
- Never use the words “suddenly” or “all hell broke loose.”
- Try to leave out the part that readers tend to skip.
The recently popularized “flat” interface style is not merely a trend. It is the manifestation of a desire for greater authenticity in design, a desire to curb visual excess and eliminate the fake and the superfluous.
